DEPARTMENT OF EXPERIMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY in association with Jesus College
Salary: £42,883 – £57,581 p.a.
Applications are invited for a University Lecturership in Experimental Psychology. This position would be held within the Department of Experimental Psychology, University of Oxford, leading to a permanent academic post upon the successful completion of a probationary period. A Tutorial Fellowship at Jesus College is attached to this position.
The principal duty will be to establish and lead a world-class research programme in the applicant’s core area of research. The department is seeking to appoint to add strength to our research grouping in social psychology and psychological disorders, but we are open to internationally strong candidates in all areas that complement departmental strengths.
The successful applicant will have an international reputation for research and scholarship, and will contribute to and benefit from a full role in the academic life of the Department of Experimental Psychology and of Jesus College. He/she will be able to demonstrate the ability to teach high-achieving and challenging undergraduates and graduate students.
In addition to the combined University and college salary, there is up to £9,986 p.a. taxable and pensionable college housing allowance and other benefits available.
