Applications are invited for the post of University Lecturer in Management and Organisation Studies within the Saїd Business School at the University of Oxford. The post will be held in association with a Non-Tutorial Fellowship at Green Templeton College. The successful candidate will join our faculty of Organisational Behaviour, Operations Management and Science and Technology (TOPOS).

The successful candidate will be an outstanding scholar and teacher of management and organisation studies with a background, including a doctorate, in one of the social and human sciences. She or he will be required to give lectures and classes on taught graduate courses, including the MBA, Executive MBA; tutorials and lectures on undergraduate courses and to supervise masters’ and doctoral students. She or he will develop a programme of the highest quality research in management and organisation studies and be expected to engage in original, world-class research in these fields, secure research funding and engage in the management of research projects and to disseminate her/his research through publication in highly-ranked, peer reviewed journals, participate in international conferences and seminars and through other media in order to demonstrate impact in research and, through this, to inform business practice. The school is particularly interested in making an appointment in the area of organisation studies, broadly defined to include work in institution theory, practice theory, change and innovation particularly in professional organisations, although it is intended that recruitment to the present vacancy should take the opportunity to draw upon as wide a field of international scholarship as possible, in order to attract a candidate of the highest calibre, aligned with the school’s commitment to excellence in business education and research.

The salary range is £43,312 – £58,157 p.a. (a salary supplement would be considered to secure the appointment of the best candidate). The post is tenable from September 2013/January 2014. This is a tenure-track position.
