The CompanyOur client is a well respected and expanding Transcomm’s and Marcomm’s solutions provider who is currently recruiting for a Software Quality Analyst based in or around Manchester.
The Role
The purpose and remit of the Software Quality Analyst role:-
• Checking business functionality and compliance with specifications of application or process changes received from Print Development and Conversions
• These pieces of work will range from DM to moderately complex business logic changes and results will be recorded on bespoke test plans or pro-forma checklists
• Adhering to the applicable Software Quality workflow for the application or process change under test
• Composing simple test plans as required for new conversions and change requests
• Completing admin tasks such as timesheets, tracking documents and loggers. Checking QA inbox at regular intervals to keep abreast of outstanding work
• Acting as QA representative at project and BAU meetings as required
• Pro-active when dealing with outstanding work, organising time effectively and re-prioritising as necessary
• Communicating with all team members relevant to the Software Lifecycle such as developers, code release teams and Client Experience
• Validating campaign set-ups for cycling clients
• Delivering work within deadlines. Due to the nature of the business these deadlines will often be tight and may occasionally require work outside of office hours
• No work should be allowed to run live unless the Software Quality Team is happy it is error free
