About the Job
Are you looking for an industrial placement at the end of your second year and are you studying an Electrical Engineering degree? If so Cargill can offer you a superb opportunity to gain valuable work experience on our one-year undergraduate programme.
We are looking for an undergraduate Engineering Student to work as part of our busy manufacturing teams based at our state of the art Wheat Plant in Manchester
Activities you will be involved in: You will be expected to manage small projects from initial design to completion. This will involve justification of projects, design, liaising with contractors to obtain best possible solution. Deliver design and specifications for all electrical equipment and services for local projects in accordance with best practices, project scope, program and budget, balancing technical and commercial concernsinstallation. Additionally you will gain valuable experience planning and scheduling maintenance. This will involve both the use of proactive tools and traditional preventative maintenance methods.
What you will learn: Gain an excellent working knowledge of what you have
learnt at university with hands on practical experience. Develop the ability to work with a variety of different disciplines i.e. operators, supervisors and contractors. Work on a variety of projects which will help to develop responsibility for a future career..
