My client is one of the world’s largest financial institutions that are seeking a number of system administrators to join their growing infrastructure team. Supporting several thousand users across multiple servers and networks, this is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Sysadmin that is looking for a new challenge.
Working with a range of Windows server editions, from 2000 to 2008r2, favours applicants that have had exposure to a variety of Windows Server releases. This role will see applicants being responsible for the continuous availability of the Windows system for users around the world.
Those applicants with experience of administrating large systems, 1000+ users, or exposure to working in the Finance sector will be immediately short listed. Experience of using Powershell, VBScript or similar shell scripting technology is key as it will be a key feature of this position. Expertise with a variety of HP, IBM and EMC SAN technologies is highly advantageous too.
